Background

I hold an Oriental Medical Doctor (OMD) certificate and I am the author of 9 books on herbal medicine and healing, including the best selling Way of Herbs (published by Pocket Books). I integrate Western, Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine as part of my healing. With 38 years of clinical experience in acupuncture and herbal therapy, I continue to be an invited guest lecturer at professional seminars around the world. I am the founder of the American Herbalist's Guild a peer reviewed professional herbalists association (AHG) and author of the East West Herb Course with thousands of students worldwide (www.planetherbs.com). I have mentored three generations of acupuncturists and herbalists. I have many specialties including back and joint pains, metabolic imbalances, cancer (author of 'Treating Cancer with Herbs), neurologic and gastro-intestinal. I am the founder and chief formulator of Planetary Herbals, which are sold throughout the country and abroad.
