Gait Analysis

Gait analysis is the study of human motion. It is used in sports biomechanics to help athletes run more efficiently and to identify posture/movement-related problems in people with injuries.

What happens in a gait analysis session?

Usually several video cameras are used around a walkway or treadmill. The cameras, connected to computers calculate the movement of the underlying bones.
