Massage Therapist

Heather Fraelick began her professional life as a dancer after graduating with honors from Columbia College Chicago in 2000.  She spent six years performing, teaching and choreographing dance throughout Chicago and the Northwest suburbs.  Her performing credits include Thodos Dance Chicago, Estradanza, and she had the privilege of working with Colleen Halloran, Jon Leher, Altin Naska and Amy Wilkinson. 

Throughout her career, Heather experienced several dance related injuries that left her unable to perform and move with freedom.  As a result, she decided to learn about healing by expanding her knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and massage therapy.  In pursuit of this interest, Heather attended the New School for Massage; Bodywork and Healing in Chicago, IL.  Her experience in massage therapy school changed her life, and she chose to dedicate her career to the service of helping others heal.

Since her graduation in 2004, Heather has worked in wellness centers, chiropractic offices and high end spas, providing clients with sessions that are relaxing yet therapeutic in their intent.  Believing that every person has their own needs and is of most importance to hear where they are coming from, she draws from assisted stretching, Deep Tissue, Myofacial Release, Swedish massage and Trigger Point Therapy techniques to create sessions that are tailored to each individual client. 

Heather also provides Pre-Natal massage to expectant mothers and Reflexology as an additional treatment to enhance one's overall well-being.  Currently, Heather is studying Craniosacral Therapy and Reiki, and looks forward to offering these services in the near future.  Heather is also Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and is affiliated with American Massage and Bodywork Professionals.

In 2011, Heather started working out of Division Chiropractic and Acupuncture in the heart of Chicago's own Wicker Park neighborhood. She enjoys working alongside the talented professionals that offer Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Massage Therapy and encourages you to come and see all that this location has to offer!
