Dr. Ryan Lombardo is the Wellness Director and Co-owner of Five Phase Wellness Center.  Our Providers believe that the body, mind and spirit must all be in a healthy state to achieve “wellness”.  In order to create this natural state of balance it is important to know how to guide the body in that direction.  Five Phase Wellness Providers are trained to interpret the symptoms our clients are experiencing and to address the source of the problem so the imbalance may be corrected.  As the World Health Organization says, “Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease…”  Whether our client’s goal is to relieve an acute problem, establish a pattern of well-living or simply enjoy some pampering we are here to assist in attaining their health care goals.  Here at Five Phase Wellness Center our mission is to provide complete wellness solutions to the community, educating on the importance of healthy lifestyles to prevent disease and promote longevity.

We are located in the North Chicagoland suburb of Evanston and serve clients throughout the nation.  We provide wellness education to all communities to increase health and happiness.

Dr. Ryan Lombardo received his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, IL. The Doctor of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (DAOM) is the highest formal educational credential available in the field of acupuncture and Oriental medicine in the United States.  Dr. Lombardo is one of 6 doctors practicing as a DAOM recognized by the State of Illinois and has been practicing acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the Chicagoland area as a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) since 2003.  Dr. Lombardo is also one of the few acupuncturists in the United States that is board certified in anti-aging medicine by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Lombardo is passionate about furthering the development of preventive and integrative medicine through promotion, practice, education and affiliation with other like-minded professionals, associations and corporations.

Dr. Lombardo’s talents and enthusiasm for evidence-based wellness and lifestyle medicine led his practice to consist of healthcare practices based on Eastern medical principles including acupuncture, herbology, lifestyle and nutritional counseling, Qi Gong, meditation, and longevity medicine.  Clients of all ages are welcome as his practice is focused on creating physical and energetic balance, fostering healing and longevity in all aspects of life.

His complementary medicine career began as Wellness Director and Director of Image Enhancement & Cosmetic Medicine at the prestigious Tiffani Kim Institute in Chicago where he helped to develop one of Chicago’s first “integrative medical spas” and established his professional acupuncture and lifestyle counseling practice.  While beginning doctoral studies in preventive medicine and completing board- certification in anti-aging medicine, Dr. Lombardo moved his practice into MG Rejuvenation Center overlooking Millennium Park in downtown Chicago.  During his doctoral residency, Dr. Lombardo also performed as Director of Business Development for SKINQRI, LLC, a cosmetic and general dermatology research company.

Dr. Lombardo is a faculty member of Midwest College’s doctoral program, leading the Nutraceutical Science and Chinese Medicine Energetics curriculum. Ryan Lombardo has been a “Featured AcuDoc” of the American Cosmetic Acupuncture Association and has been interviewed for Self Magazine, American Spa Magazine, Day Spa Magazine, Today’s Chicago Woman, the Chicago Sun-Times, WGN, and various other local and national media.
