My life has been enriched in several different yet connected career experiences. I was involved in teaching children from grades K-10 inclucing gifted, alternative, "average" ( who's average?) and ESL ( English as a Second Language) for 12 years. For 2 years, I was a substance abuse counselor where I used a model that taught the client how to use their real feelings as opposed to emotional blocks ( anger vs. blame, for ex.) and then applying the process of self-parenting. The results were more came back for treatment, joined AA, NA, etc. and generally took responsibility for some aspects of their life. Currently I coach people in transition...relationships, parenting, careers and retirement.

Turned my fear into fun!
I attended a Life Balance workshop given by Linda McCarrin ( she owns Ripple Effect Personal & Professional Development) and she turned my fears in to fun. Finding out who I am will prove to be the most valuable and rewarding things I have done in this millenium. Her workshop helped me prioritize what was important in my life, where my weaknesses were, the inherent strenghts I have and how to mentally visualize where I want to go. ...the experienc will carry me a long way and assist me in my professional and personal pursuits.
