After completing my massage therapy training with the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (now Cortiva), I developed and pursued an interest in reflexology; first as a recipient, then as a student. I studied the Ingham Method of Reflexology through the International Institute of Reflexology. I now practice reflexology exclusively, offering service in your home or office. I am also affiliated with two spa locations in the South Loop and Streeterville neighborhoods.
Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all the glands, organs, and parts of the body. Stimulating these reflex areas properly can help many health problems in a natural way. Reflexology is a serious advance in the health field and should not be confused with massage.
Reflexology is used to relieve tension, reduce pain and inflammation, and improve circulation. the intention is to promote better health and well-being. Reflexology does not diagnose, prescribe, or cure existing conditions. Nor does it replace medical treatment, or teach medicine.
