David Hatfield

LMT, ABT, CP, RH, RCT

David has been an energy healer since 1997. He became interested in energy work when he started Tai Chi in 1994 with Bob Cook. Bob taught David basic herbal medicine and acupressure techniques. Since then David has added to his abilities with formal training in energy work beginning in 1997 when he started his Kriya Yoga training in New Mexico. It was during this time that he found a talent to affect the energy body bringing relief to all different types of problems. He realized you dont need anything but yourself and spirit.

Since then, David has owned several small businesses in Aspen, Colorado. He's learned several energy healing systems as well as developed his own. He will be complementing his formal studies with Oriental Medicine in September with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, IL. 

Concurrently with grad school David graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine's massage program in December 2010 where he completed his Asian Body work studies and is now a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Illinois. He likes to combine his previous studies of energy work with oriental medicine knowledge to give a unique treatment.
 
His goal is to become more proficient at herbal medicine so he can also offer that to his clients and creating more Awaken Therapeutics locations throughout Chicagoland area!
